Based in Belgium, Annick Geenen is a fine art photographer, visual artist, and lecturer in the Photography Department at LUCA School of Arts, campus C-mine.
Her artistic practice explores perception, memory, imagination, reality and fiction, identity, autonomy and human connectedness. Through photography, she attends to what lies beyond the visible image: the overlooked, the subtle and the moments that remain beyond immediate perception.
