Act-Wall — photo series
A fragment of a fragment, a part of a part. A sense of incompleteness prevails. Does this arise from the subject matter? Or from the fundamental nature of photography? Act-Wall features a woman facing her shadow, with an outline of their silhouette in conversation. The project confront their viewers with the stubborn yet transitory facticity of materials. Everything is present yet somehow elusive. The dark garments and jewelry in the images are from Heaven Tanudiredja. Kim Peers is the model.
