Like a storyteller, Annick Geenen's images play on the tension between suggestion, concealment and revelation, a style embodied by these women on a staircase, staged by her with cinematic lighting, at L'École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris. The soft layering garments in the images are from fashion designer Veronique Branquinho. Annick Geenen offers a vision that embraces strength, softness, empowerment and a sense of protection.
